Generally disconnected from reality. Always a tune in my head, always alone in my bed. Some things are better left unsaid, while some people are better left alone. I’m just a country girl longing for something more, with no hope of finding it here. Kitten heels are simply divine, french twists define my life. City blocks and parks find my heart. Boys break it.
I paint my toenails but don't wear open-toed shoes, I hate them, in fact. Except for my berks, or flip flops. I used to dye my hair regularly, kicked the habit, then fell off the wagon. I miss the summer days when it was a bad day if we only spent four hours in the pool. I'm back in school, I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, and I think I may never know. But I take heart in the fact that I wake up at night and write for hours, and that someday, maybe, I'll be signed or published.
